SCHOLARSHIP, STYLE, SERVICE & SUCCESS are the hallmarks of Miss America.  The road to all of the fun, excitement, personal growth, and scholarships of the Miss America program begins right here with Broward County’s official preliminary event.  Our local winners are intelligent, talented, well-rounded, and passionate spokespersons for the beauty, history and diversity of Broward County and the South Florida region. You could be next!  Broward, Miami Dade and Palm Beach County residents are all eligible to participate in Broward’s local preliminary held annually in the late fall or early spring.
