Juliette Valle competed in the preliminary event of the Miss America pageant. She went on to win the Fort Lauderdale Outstanding Teen 2017.  The Miss Teen America program begins with Broward County’s official preliminary event.  Local winners are intelligent, talented, well-rounded, and passionate spokespersons for the beauty, history and diversity of Broward County and the South Florida region. Broward, Miami Dade and Palm Beach County residents are all eligible to participate in Broward’s local preliminary held annually in the late fall or early spring. The winners go on to the Miss Florida Outstanding Teen Pagaent.
