My Love of Performing
I fell in love with musical theatre with my first role as “Mary Lennox” in The Secret Garden. Although I was very seriously studying ballet, this opportunity took me in a different direction. Professional roles in shows such as Showboat, Bonnie and Clyde-the Musical, and Big River followed. In 2015, I was named “Best Actress Under 25 (Miami)” by Broadway World for my role as Young Bonnie in “Bonnie & Clyde”, and was nominated again in 2017. My favorite role so far has to be Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”! I performed most recently in a professional production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. My dream role is to one day play “Christine Daaé ” in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway!
Scholastic Accomplishments
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Miami majoring in Political Science with minors in Broadcast Journalism, Music, and Theatre Arts. I am on the President’s Honor Roll and I received an academic scholarship for my sophomore year. I feel very fortunate to be taught by a world class Musical Theatre faculty, and my classmates are all extremely talented.
